SHONA KING
Salon Owner
As a professional stylist and owner, Shona defines the culture and goals for North West Salon in Jasper, Georgia. The team at North West is extensively trained in the latest hair care techniques and styling product technology by hosting Aveda and Redken education classes several times a year. Through creative hair cutting, personalized color, and texture, North West provides clients with the fashion forward styles that enhance their career and life styles. Shona is a Redken certified hair colorist and certified in Brazilian Blowouts.
ASHLEY DAVIS
Master Stylist
Ashley has been in the hair and beauty industry since 2002 and has loved every minute of it. She is a Master Cosmetologist and color specialist in Aveda and Redken. Ashley is always staying up to date with all the latest styles and techniques. Some of her favorite things to do are short fun cuts and layering long hair. Ashley works Wednesday and Thursday in order to spend time at home and raise her son.
CHRISTEN F. GRIFFIS
Master Stylist
Christen is a third generation hair stylist and has been in the industry for almost thirteen years. Education is one of her top priorities and has earned her Bachelor's degree in communication from Kennesaw State University. She enjoys staying up to date on the latest hair color trends and attends educational classes year round. Christen specializes in balayage, color, men's and women's cuts, special occasions and wedding updos, and absolutely loves making other people feel beautiful. When she isn't working, Christen can be found working on new paintings in her art studio, golfing, or spending time with her son, Atlas, and husband, Kenny.
ASHLEY FOSBROOK
Master Stylist
Ashley has been working in the hair industry since 2008, when she graduated with her Master Cosmetology License. Ashley started working at North West Salon in 2018. She specializes in women's blonding, color corrections and balayages. She stays up to date with styles and trends and enjoys taking new classes. Ashley is the mother of three beautiful girls and loves spending time with them outside of work.
SONJA MALLARD
Lead Master Stylist &
Aveda Color Ambassador
Sonja has been in the hair industry for over twenty years. she became a color specialist in 2002 with Toni & Guy Hairdressing and more recently became a Color Ambassador with Aveda. Sonja is dedicated to leading the salon staff and offering the most up to date color and cutting techniques for her clients. She offers free color consultations and looks forward to serving you at North West Salon.
JENNIFER JOHNSON
Master Stylist & Instructor
Having more than thirty years in the cosmetology industry, Jennifer has enjoyed the many different facets of the industry, from salon ownership to licensed instructor. As an educator, she was fortunate to work with some of the greatest talent at Chattahoochee Technical College. Education is her passion, having earned both a Bachelor's degree in management and a Masters in Business Administration at Keller Graduate School. Jennifer specializes in hair coloring as well as cutting hair. She assures you that North West is where you will find the most talent under one roof.
TINA TARTT
Master Stylist
Tina has been with North West Salon for over 20 years now and apprenticed under the salon owner, Shona King, when the salon first opened. Tina is a Redken certified haircolorist and has attended countless hair shows, including educational classes by industry expert, Roy Peters. She is Brazilian Blowout certified, enjoys a good makeover and especially loves haircuts. When Tina isn't working she enjoys spending time with her two children.
AUDREY HERRERA

That is what Audrey does. Audrey has been with North West Salon since 2014, after graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College with her Master Cosmetology License. For over six years now, Audrey has mastered her trade by learning from a celebrity makeup artist, attending Redken and Aveda classes, as well as doing hair and makeup for TV and multiple pageant systems. Weddings are her true passion and she loves making brides feel beautiful on their special day. Audrey specializes in balayage, color corrections and is a master at makeup. She believes that everyone is beautiful and her job is to simply enhance their natural beauty. When Audrey isn’t working, she can be found spending time with her husband and her pittie, Bella.
ALEXIS CALLAN
Master Stylist
Alexis has been in the cosmetology industry since 2016. She enjoys attending classes and staying up to date with the latest trends. Alexis enjoys doing all hair services, but she specializes in fashion colors and lived-in balayages. When she is not working she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Clay.
KIM FOUNTAIN
Master Stylist
Kim started with NWS in September, 2022 but is not new to the cosmetology industry. She graduated from Pickens Technical College in 1998 with her Master of Cosmetology License and continued doing hair for over fifteen years, while owning her own salon and raising two children. Kim enjoys attending hair shows and continuing education classes. Some of her favorites have been with Redken, especially Roy Peters' Advanced Color Theory class and Pivot Point hair cutting class. When Kim isn't working in the salon, she enjoys spending time with her grandson, Atlas, going to church and playing golf with her husband, Matt.

SHEINA RAPP
Master Stylist & Makeup Artist
Sheina has been in the hair industry for almost 18 years, obtaining her first cosmetology certificate in the Philippines in 2003 and her American cosmetology license in 2014 after attending Chattahoochee Technical College. She believes in the importance of continuing education and has attended many classes, including Aveda color, men's haircutting, makeup, dry haircutting, and is Brazilian Blowout certified. Sheina strives to remain at the forefront of the beauty industry with product knowledge and new services available in order to provide an excellent service to her clients. She places a high value on building relationships with her clients to better understand how to best meet their needs. As a makeup artist, one of her favorite things is to enhance the beauty of her client for a special moment in their life. Sheina specializes in Brazilian Blowouts, color, balayage, blonding and foiling, color corrections, men's and women's haircuts, and styling.
BEKAH DANCEY
Master Stylist
Bekah graduated with her cosmetology diploma in 2022 and began her career at NWS shortly after. She specializes in men's cuts, perms and hair color. When Bekah isn't working, she enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach.
SIERRA TINNIN
Apprentice
Sierra began her apprenticeship under Audrey Herrera in May of 2022, learning first-hand skills in the cosmetology industry. On days when she isn't learning and assisting Audrey, Sierra helps the salon and receptionist desk run smoothly. She is looking forward to obtaining her cosmetology diploma and building her own clientele. On the weekends, Sierra enjoys spending time outdoors with her German Shepherd, Rose.
